Re-evaluation decision for antisapstain use of 2 (thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole (TCMTB) .: H113-28/2017-8E-PDF
"2-(Thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole (TCMTB) is an antimicrobial active ingredient registered as a sapstain control chemical. The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has completed the re-evaluation for the antisapstain use of TCMTB. Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, the PMRA is granting continued registration of the antisapstain use of TCMTB in Canada. An evaluation of available scientific information found that the antisapstain use of TCMTB products does not present unacceptable risks to human health or the environment when used according to the conditions of registration, including amended label directions“--p. 1.
