Health education and medical services in Canadian schools / Dominion Bureau of Statistics, Education Statistics Branch.CS81-D/63-1941-PDF

“The Education Branch of the Dominion Bureau of Statistics has undertaken in this bulletin, for the first time, to provide a survey of the existing services for health protection and disease prevention within the school population. Due to lack of uniformity in practice, as between different areas, statistical compilations are limited. Records are maintained in all municipalities where such services exist, but the terms used may vary within the same province, and in some municipalities the records are not compiled for publication. The tables included are therefore representative of the services in existence but are not comprehensive of all health services and assistance given to school children”--Preface, p. [1].
