Also included are questions which asked Canadians about their perceptions of time pressures. This first report from the 1992 GSS provides a general overview of Canadians' use of time. This is done by looking at the average hours per day that Canadian adults devote to various activities. Averages cover all seven days of the week. Such averages provide useful insights into how Canadians spend their time however are limited since they include all persons in the population (or subpopulation) whether or not they engage in an activity.
