"The Canadian LRTAP program (long range transport of atmospheric pollutants) involves many different laboratories who individually produce data for regional or national objectives. If these data are to be merged or if they are to be used to establish long-term trends it is imperative that the data be verified as comparable between laboratories and that laboratories have produced data. in controlled and unbiased manner. This report describes a eighth interlaboratory study that addresses these issues. This study consisted of l0 water samples and was distributed to 48 laboratories who were requested to analyze for 16 different constituents,"--Exec. summary, p. i.
