"This report presents the findings of the evaluation of the program, AgriMarketing Stream D: Assurance Systems (hereafter referred to as the Assurance Systems program). The evaluation assessed the relevance and performance for all three components of the Assurance Systems program, encompassing all program activities from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2016, covering the first three years of the five-year program. Growing Forward 2 is a five-year Federal-Provincial-Territorial (FPT) policy framework (April 2013 to March 2018) for Canada’s agricultural and agri-food sector. AgriMarketing is one of the three federal-only funded programs. The objective of AgriMarketing is to advance the Growing Forward 2 priority of improving the agricultural sector’s competitiveness in domestic and international markets. AgriMarketing consists of four streams (A, B, C and D), of which the Assurance Systems program is Stream D"--Executive summary, p. 3.
