The objectives of the Adult Education and Training Survey were: to measure the incidence of adult education/training in Canada in a comprehensive manner; to provide a socio/economic/demographic profile of individuals who participated and did not participate in training; to profile the types, durations and locations of training; to profile employer involvement in the training process; and to identify barriers to training and education"--P.
