Agreement among three mental health screening measures / Geoff Wilton, Lynn A. Stewart and Jenelle Power.: PS83-6/58E-PDF
"In this study, reception units across the five regions in CSC were provided with a list of offenders who had been admitted to their institution over a four-month period and who had completed the Computerised Mental Health Intake Screening System II (CoMHISS, Version 2). Reception units were asked to provide data from offenders’ health status admission assessments, known as Form 1244 Section I and Form 1244 Section II. There were 390 offenders with complete data on all three assessments. We examined whether each assessment tool resulted in a referral for mental health follow-up (i.e., whether offenders were identified as requiring further evaluation)"--Executive summary.
