"Food Production and Inspection Branch of Agriculture Canada has many programs to ensure the healty [sic], safety, quality, and wholesomeness of foods which requires quality laboratory data. Some of this data is provided by non-Agriculture Canada laboratories. Therefore a need exists to verify a laboratories [sic] capability to provide this quality test data and to maintain high standards of performance in its daily operations. Laboratory Services Division of the Food Production and Inspection Branch has developed the Laboratory Audit and Accreditation Protocol for this purpose"--Exec. summary.
