Hydrodynamic models of Lake St. Clair / by T.J. Simons and W.M. Schertzer.: En13-5/86-10E-PDF

"As part of the 1985/87 Canada-U.S. Upper Great Lakes Connecting Channel Study, it is intended to model material transport and sediment-water exchanges in Lake St. Clair. The first step toward that goal is to model water movements in the lake by numerical methods and to verify the model against extensive current meter observations made during 1985. This is the subject of the present report. In particular, the report provides a very simple and economical procedure for computing circulations in Lake St. Clair as required in many practical applications"--Exec. summary.
