"Expertise on trihalomethanes (THMs) developed through several years of research at CCIW was used to aid Jordan in assessing potential TH problems from their new water treatment plant. I was able to demonstrate that THMs should not be a serious problem in their treated drinking water. Although the Jordanian government covered the trip expenses, the Canadian government contributed my time and expertise and, therefore, provided aid to this third world country"--Exec. summary.
