Impact of the introduction of computer-assisted interviewing as the new Labour Force Survey data collection method = Impact de l'implantation des interviews assistées par ordinateur comme nouvelle méthode...: CS12-0012/1995-PDF
"The Labour Force Survey (LFS) has recently undergone a major technological changeover. Computer-Assisted Interviewing (CAI) is now the new data collection method. Since November 1993, the CAI mode has been gradually introduced in the LFS. Within a few months, portable computers replaced the traditional paper and pencil interview (PAPI). The LFS uses several quality indicators to monitor the monthly data quality of the survey. These are discussed and evaluated each month by the LFS Data Quality Committee. This report considers a number of regular quality indicators of the LFS and also some that were produced during the introduction of CAI and have been produced on a monthly basis ever since"--Introd., p. 1, 2.
