Investigations of the behaviour of perchloroethylene and source of trace organics in the St. Clair River / by Y.L. Lau, J. Marsalek and B.G. Krishnappan.: En13-5/86-100E-PDF

"As part of the effort by the National Water Research Institute to investigate the source of the tarry substances found on the bottom of the St. Clair River, some studies were carried out by the Hydraulics Division. These included observations of the movement of perchloroethylene (PERC) and its dissolution rate in the laboratory, calculations of the sediment transport capacity and properties of sand waves, calculations of dispersion from point sources and evaluation of trace organics in the urban runoff. These investigations and the results are presented in this report"--Introd., p. 1.
