"This volume provides a comprehensive record of the annual National Income and Expenditure Accounts for the period 1926 to 1986, inclusive. It incorporates the results of a major historical statistical revision from 1947, the first results of which were released in July 1986, and presentational changes which have been carried back to 1926. The data for the years 1984. 1985 and 1986 reflect all information available in the summer of 1987; revisions to these years are expected in the spring of 1988. The report supersedes all previous annual publications on the National Income and Expenditure Accounts issued by Statistics Canada”--Introd., p. [xi].
