"The Peary caribou (Rangifer tarandus pearyi) is found throughout the Canadian arctic archipelago. Its ecology has received only limited investigation, but work by Miller, Russell and Gunn (1977a, 1977b) and Miller and Gunn (1978, 1979) indicates that many Peary caribou move from island to island, apparently seasonally"--Introd.
