"Scattered flocks of breeding Trumpeter Swans (Cygnus buccinator) occur in Alaska (King and Conant 1981), Yukon (McKelvey et al. 1983), British Columbia and Alberta (Brechtel 1982), Saskatchewan (Nieman and Isbister 1974), and Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming (Palmer 1976). These flocks are separated into the Pacific Coast and Rocky Mountain populations"--Introd.
