Research on media strategies and practices in the field of legal news / Gaëtan Tremblay.: J23-3/14-1988E-PDF

"In January 1986, the Canadian Sentencing Commission asked us to proceed with a study on the news policies and practices of the Quebec media regarding judicial matters. Bearing in mind the needs of the Commission and the deadlines imposed (report at the end of March), it was agreed with the Research Director, Mr. Jean-Paul Brodeur, to carry out exploratory-descriptive research by conducting between twelve and fifteen interviews among the legal reporters of a number of large media, from the print as well as the electronic media"--Aim of the study, p. 1.
