"A daily sampling program has been established by the Water Quality Branch, Department of Fisheries and the Environment, at Niagara-on-the-Lake to obtain refined loading estimates of phosphorus, nitrogen and major ions into Lake Ontario from the Niagara River. The accuracy of the daily data within a week is measured against data collected at hourly intervals"--Abstract.
