Federal-Provincial-Territorial Ministers of Agriculture progress report on the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change .A22-605/2018E-PDF

"In December 2016, First Ministers adopted the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change (PCF). The PCF builds on the leadership and early actions of provincial and territorial governments to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and identifies further actions to be taken across all regions and sectors of the economy, including the agriculture sector, in order to contribute to meeting Canada’s emissions reduction target; and seize the economic opportunities associated with clean growth. Federal-Provincial-Territorial (FPT) Ministers of Agriculture recognize that governments have an important role to play to support farmers and agri-food producers to reduce GHG emissions and adapt to climate change, and are pleased to provide this progress report on the agriculture-related actions identified under the PCF”--Introd., p. 3, 4.
