"This report presents findings from the evaluation of the Federal Income Support for Parents of Murdered or Missing Children (PMMC) grant which was introduced in January 2013. This grant provides income support payments of $350 per week for up 35 weeks (up to $12,250 in total) to parents who suffer a loss of employment income due to the death or disappearance of their child or children under the age of 18, where the death or disappearance is the result of a probable Criminal Code offence in Canada. This first evaluation of the PMMC grant examined questions pertaining to the relevance, usage, awareness and administrative costs of the grant”--Executive summary.
