"The first phase of the experimental trough research program undertaken jointly by the Inland Waters Directorate of Environment Canada and Weyerhaeuser Canada Ltd. during 1980-81 established that the higher algal biomass levels in the Thompson River downstream from Kamloops Lake were caused by phosphorus originating from point source discharges near Kamloops"--Abstract.
