“This guideline is intended to assist federally regulated workplace parties, who may lack occupational hygiene expertise, understand how to manage and control exposure to chemical agents, in particular those, which do not have occupational exposure limits, such as nanoparticles. The guideline will be especially useful for industrial hygiene specialists and health and safety professionals who may be recommending control measures including respiratory protection devices for such substances which do not have occupational exposure limits established, to ensure employee protection. The purpose of this guideline is to support the Labour Program’s mandate of fostering safe and healthy workplace environment”--T.p.
