“The last assessment of stock status of Atlantic Salmon for Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Gulf Region was completed after the 2013 return year and updates on stock status in 2014 to 2016 for each of the four Salmon Fishing Areas (SFA 15-18) were prepared. DFO Fisheries and Aquaculture Management (FAM) requested an update of the status of the Atlantic Salmon stocks in DFO Gulf Region for 2017. Indicators for adult and juvenile Atlantic Salmon in SFAs 15 to 18 are provided in this report.
