"The Northern Highlands of México is an increasingly important wintering area for populations of Lesser Snow Geese Anser caerulescens caerulescens and Ross' Geese A. rossii that nest in the Western and Central Canadian Arctic. We estimate that the area regularly overwinters 100 000 white geese, of which 90% are Lesser Snow Geese and 10% are Ross' Geese"--Abstract.
