"Results from the Breeding Bird Survey are used to study changes in population of birds in Canada over the period 1966 to 1983. Although some patterns are apparent, such as a decline of many grassland and wetland species in the Canadian prairies, the results are generally more complex. There is a mixture of increases and decreases in population that varies by species and regions"--Summary.
