"A reevaluation of the statuses of Peary caribou (Rangifer tarandus pearyi) and muskoxen (Ovibos moschatus) on the south-central Queen Elizabeth Islands was carried out by the Canadian Wildlife Service in 1988. An aerial survey to determine numbers and distributions of Peary caribou and muskoxen was flown between 11 and 21 July 1988"--Abstract.
