"This plant is endemic to Canada and restricted to limestone cliffs and escarpments of the Gaspé Peninsula in eastern Quebec. There are few individuals located in a small number of scattered sites. It is threatened by rock-climbers, and its growth on unstable rocks makes it vulnerable to rock-fall events"--Assessment Summary – November 2017, p. iii.
