"Fanny Bay and Little Bay are predominantly intertidal and estuarine habitats. Both bays are situated on Baynes Sound which is internationally recognized as important for migratory waterfowl. To determine the abundance and distribution of migratory and resident birds in and near the Fanny Bay - Little Bay wetlands, weekly surveys were conducted from September 10 1990 to August 25 1991"--Abstract.
