"Isopropyl alcohol is a hard-surface sanitizer for use in general household cleaning and sanitation, including sanitation of non-food and food contact surfaces such as countertops. It also controls mould and mildew on pre-cleaned hard non-porous surfaces (non-food use) such as bathroom tiles. This document presents the final regulatory decision for the re-evaluation of isopropyl alcohol. All pest control products containing isopropyl alcohol that are registered in Canada are subject to this re-evaluation decision"--Re-evaluation decision, p. 1.
