"The Little Qualicum River estuary consists of intertidal and estuarine habitats with sandspit, upland meadow, hedgerow and mature second growth mixed-forest. It is situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island and enters the Strait of Georgia. To determine the abundance and distribution of migratory and resident birds in the Little Qualicum River estuary, regular surveys were conducted weekly or biweekly from 19 January 1975 to 25 May 1979"--Abstract.
