"This evaluation examines the relevance and performance of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s (AAFC) AgriInnovation Program Stream C: Enabling Commercialization and Adoption (henceforth called Stream C). It assessed the relevance and performance of Stream C, specifically focusing on results achieved by the program to date. The evaluation covers the period from fiscal year 2013-14 to 2017-18. Stream C was designed to facilitate the demonstration, commercialization and/or adoption of innovative products, technologies, processes or services in the agriculture, agri-food and agri-based products sector. The overall goal of Stream C is to increase sector competitiveness across the value chain and realize returns on investments made at earlier stages of the innovation continuum"--Executive summary, p. 2.
