Hammond Reef gold project : comprehensive study report.: En106-210/2018E-PDF

"Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (the proponent) proposes the construction, operation, decommissioning, and abandonment of the Hammond Reef Gold Project (the Project), a new open-pit gold mine and on-site metal mill. The proposed project location is approximately 170 kilometres west of Thunder Bay and 23 kilometres northeast of Atikokan, within the Treaty 3 (1873) area of Ontario. The Project is subject to a comprehensive study type of environmental assessment under the former Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (the former Act) and provincial individual environmental assessment under Ontario's Environmental Assessment Act.
