"The cover and biomass of surface vegetation was measured at 197 sites located on winter range of the Beverly herd of barren-ground caribou (Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus). The primary objective was to explore the relationship between abundance of caribou forages and time since fire, between those two factors and indices of caribou use, and between plant cover and biomass (dry weight)"--Summary.
