Assessment of Stimpson’s surfclam stocks of Quebec coastal waters in 2017 .: Fs70-6/2018-022E-PDF

"The Stimpson’s surfclam (Mactromeris polynyma) fishery began in the early 1990s in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The resource is assessed every three years to determine whether changes that have occurred in its status justify adjustments to the conservation approach and management plan. The main indicators used in this assessment are derived from landing, logbook and commercial catch sampling data. This Science Advisory Report is from the February 20, 2018, meeting on the assessment of Stimpson’s surfclam stocks in Quebec coastal waters"--Context, p. [1].
