"This report summarizes, in a series of maps, aerial transect surveys of waterfowl and other birds carried out on the mainland of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region of the Western Canadian Arctic, 1990-98. The region is one of the most important habitat sites for migratory birds in the Canadian Arctic and faces the possibility of the large scale development of a natural gas pipeline and gathering system in the near future"--Abstract.
