520 |a"The previous research based on the results of the mental health survey looked at the institutional outcomes of men with various combinations of mental health diagnoses (Stewart & Wilton, 2014). Results indicated that the majority of men with a mental disorder have more than one type of diagnosis. The authors concluded that it is the symptoms of impulsivity, aggression, and emotional liability associated with personality disorders that largely drive the negative institutional outcomes for many offenders with a mental disorder. The current research used similar methodology using the results of the mental health survey to examine whether this pattern holds for the revocation outcomes of offenders released from custody"--Executive summary, p. iii.
