National biosecurity standard for livestock, poultry and deadstock transportation .: A104-146/2018E-PDF

"The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Canadian Animal Health Coalition have developed the new voluntary National Biosecurity Standard for Livestock, Poultry and Deadstock Transportation (LPDT). The purpose of the LPDT Standard is to create a common understanding of biosecurity practices to help prevent the spread or transmission of diseases during livestock, poultry and deadstock transportation. Implementing these best practices will help maintain a biosecurity chain while animals or deadstock are transported to or from farms and other agricultural facilities, better protecting Canada's animals and economy from the damage caused by animal disease"--Provided by publisher.
