"Cherries and grapes are the fruits suffering the most bird damage in the Niagara Peninsula. The amount of damage varies among years, areas and cultivars, but a 25 percent loss of the sweet cherry crop is not uncommon; grape damage is usually less than 10 percent of the crop"--Abstract, p. 5.
