Surficial geology of the upper Scotian Slope west of Verrill Canyon / David J.W. Piper … [et al.].: M183-2/939E-PDF
"This study is part of a larger project to investigate sediment instability, sedimentation processes, and the Quaternary history of continental slopes off eastern Canada. Several areas, each with different morphological and sedimentological characteristics, are being investigated in detail. In this study we describe the upper continental slope (200 to 1000 m water depth) from Verrill Canyon (longitude 61°10 'W) westwards to longitude 62°W. The study area includes the Acadia K-62 and Shubenacadie H-100 well sites"--Introd., p. 4-5.
