"The quantity and quality of forage produced on Southampton Island, Northwest Territories were studied from 1970 to 1972 in order to evaluate the capability of the range to support barren-ground caribou (Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus). Using aerial photographs (scale 1 :60,000) six moisture regimes were identified"--Abstract.
