"The system of classifying marshes and shallow open waters described in this paper is based on data obtained during a 10-year study of 103 wetlands at three locations in the grassland and aspen parkland regions of Saskatchewan. The features l have used in this system fall into two groups, those related to a wetland's vegetation and those based on its physical characteristics"--Abstract.
