Cypermethrin and its associated end-use products : final decision.: H113-28/2018-22E-PDF
"Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, all registered pesticides must be regularly re-evaluated by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) to ensure that they continue to meet current health and environmental safety standards and continue to have value. Cypermethrin is an insecticide registered for control of a broad spectrum of insect pests in a wide range of sites, including forests and woodlots, tobacco, industrial oilseed and fibre crops, various food and feed crops, livestock and non-crop industrial areas (roadsides). This document presents the final regulatory decision for the re-evaluation of cypermethrin, including the required risk mitigation measures to protect human health and the environment. All products containing cypermethrin that are registered in Canada are subject to this re-evaluation decision"--Re-evaluation decision, p. 1.
