Waterfowl and other ornithological investigations in Yukon Territory, Canada, 1950 / by J. Dewey Soper.: CW69-13/2-7E-PDF

"For some time it had been recognized that a greater knowledge of Yukon birdlife was desirable. Relatively few ornithological studies had been carried out in the Territory, partly because of the lack of qualified biologists, but chiefly because of its ruggedness and inaccessibility. Particularly important for administration and management purposes, was a greater knowledge of Yukon waterfowl resources, especially in the southern and south-central parts of the Territory"--Introd.
