"An experiment was conducted in the summer of 2018 to add to the growing knowledge of the spawning and rearing requirements of Cowichan Lake Lamprey (Entosphenus macrostomus). In 2017 a preliminary study was conducted to identify spawning areas (Wade et al., 2018) and confirmed for the first time the use of alluvial fans for spawning and nest building in this species"--Abstract, p. iii.
