"This study of the American goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) in New Brunswick was sponsored by the Northeastern Wildlife Station of the Wildlife Management Institute at Fredericton, New Brunswick and was carried out under the direction of Bruce S. Wright, Director of the station. Throughout the study, the writer had the capable assistance in the field of A. W. Skead, All the field work was done in the lower Saint John River Valley in the years from 1946 to1950, inclusive"--Introduction.
