"This report presents the findings and recommendations of the Evaluation of the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) Airworthiness Programme (AWP). The evaluation was conducted by Assistant Deputy Minister (Review Services) (ADM(RS)) in response to a request from the Chief of the Air Force (C Air Force). In compliance to this request and to the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) Policy on Evaluation (2009), the evaluation examined the relevance, performance and efficiency of the approach used by the DND/CAF to assure airworthiness to CAF military aviation"--Executive summary, p. vi.
