"This paper presents a test of two models of returns to job search, namely, the systematic search model and the random-search-with-recall model, using Canadian data. According to the systematic search model, the expected post unemployment wage is expected to decline with increasing search time while the relationship is positive for the random-search-with-recall model"--Summary, p. iii.
