"Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, all registered pesticides must be regularly re-evaluated by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) to ensure that they continue to meet current health and environmental safety standards and continue to have value. Z,Z)-3,13-octadecadien-1-yl acetate is registered for use in various trees and bushes to reduce the damage caused by several different moth species. This document presents the final regulatory decision for the re-evaluation of (Z,Z)-3,13- octadecadien-1-yl acetate. All pest control products containing (Z,Z)-3,13-octadecadien-1-yl acetate that are registered in Canada are subject to this re-evaluation decision"--Re-evaluation decision, p. 1.
