Subsurface waste disposal in Lambton County, Ontario : piezometric head in the disposal formation and groundwater chemistry of the shallow aquifer / A. Vandenberg ... [et al.].: En36-503/90E-PDF

"This report describes the results of a reconnaissance study on the effects of the disposal of liquid industrial wastes through wells into the subsurface of southwestern Ontario. The study was based prinnarily on the analysis of existing data concerning oil and gas wells, disposal wells, and water wells in Lambton County. A second important component of the study was a field survey and groundwater sampling program to help determine the chemistry and motion of shallow groundwaters in the County. It was hoped that the investigation of shallow groundwaters would provide some direct or indirect evidence for the effects of disposal at greater depths"--Abstract, p. ix.
