"Most local government business enterprises are located in the province of Ontario. At the same time, the bulk of these enterprises are concentrated in the electric power industry. While this paper reviews briefly the relative size and growth of the local government business enterprise sector in Canada, it primarily concentrates on an evaluation of the pricing policies and the costs of providing three specific services in the Province of Ontario.
