"The procedure for aligning Data Collection Platform (DCP) antennas in the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) System is presented. A method is given for determining (a) the angle of elevation and (b) the azimuth or bearing, to which an antenna must be set to bring it in line with a satellite.
